This nutrition month was held every month of July here in the Philippines to emphasize the importance of health, and taking proper good care of our body. This aims awareness about the nutritional status of filipinos. This food nutrition was about eating and drinking healthy foods like vegetable, fruits, milk, fish, egg, water, etc.. Good nutrition is the foundation of a healthy life, this starts with the food we eat.
Proper nutrition means eating a balanced diet. Vegetables are rich in vitamins, minerals, and fiber which helps us to keep our body strong and healthy eve fruits. This will help our body to stay strong, fight diseases, and give us natural energy. Proteins like fish, meat, egg, beans, and many other more that helps our body. During nutrition month, schools, communities encourage everyone to practice healthy eating habits through activities, programs, and even reminds us. In school we celebrate by, nutri jingle, cooking, food festival, oratorical contest, and salad making. Eating too much junk food can harm our body and will cause sickness. That is why to always eat healthy food and drink vitamins. This teaches us the importance of discipline and lifestyle. Always eat healthy food, avoid eating junk food, exercise regularly, get enough sleep, and avoid harmful activities.
This nutrition month was not only to celebrate it like it was nothing, this help us and remind us the importance of nutrition. Good nutrition doesn't only make us strong but this helps us become more productive. Always value your health like how you value your life.
